Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field for procedures, and assist in the insertion and removal of catheters and other devices.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition during procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
