Lifeguard - Middle Tyger YMCA

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified lifeguard to join our team at the Middle Tyger YMCA. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests while they enjoy our aquatic facilities.
Responsibilities- Hold current Red Cross and/or YMCA Lifeguard certification or comparable national certification
- Be certified in CPR for the Pro Rescuer and First Aid
- Be at least 16 years of age and in high school or graduated
- Complete any and all required training and employee application process as well as any other required certifications
- Make sound decisions in a stressful aquatics environment
- Lift up to 100 pounds as needed
- Work around chemicals as required
- Remain alert with no lapses in consciousness
As a part-time employee in good standing, you may be eligible for our college scholarship program. This program offers a $500 per semester scholarship, with a maximum of $1,000 per calendar year, to help you pursue your higher education goals.
