Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to assist clients with their healthcare requirements and enhance health outcomes through prescription fulfillment, clinical service provision, therapy consultation, exceptional customer service, and oversight of pharmacy staff. Independent decision-making is a critical aspect of this position. Additionally, adherence to safety protocols in line with Rite Aid policies and relevant laws is essential.

  • Guide customers in managing health conditions through pharmacological and non-pharmacological options, utilizing provided clinical resources and communicating in their preferred manner.

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services in accordance with state regulations, including adherence support, immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing (POCT), and diagnostic testing to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Utilize products and services to benefit customers while fostering profitable retail operations and prescription growth.

  • Ensure the precision and suitability of all filled prescriptions by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance, adhering to DEA, State, and Federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.

  • Provide quality patient care through in-person, telephonic, or digital interactions, collaborating with healthcare providers and care teams to focus on health and wellness outcomes.

  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in supervising pharmacy operations, mentoring pharmacy staff, and overseeing their training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

  • Address and resolve customer concerns to guarantee satisfaction.

  • Complete mandatory company certifications, education, and training, including Whole Being Health and support for clinical service activities.
