Java Engineering Manager Role

This position entails overseeing the effective definition and execution of software solutions tailored for end-user clients. Reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will cultivate relationships with various stakeholders, assemble and lead a proficient team, outline implementation strategies and budgets, evaluate quality metrics, and guarantee that final deliverables align with client expectations.

Compensation Overview:

$125,000 - $212,000, Salary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize technical expertise and customer insights to formulate modernization strategies and design solutions
  • Supervise the development, engineering, implementation, and management of servers, technological infrastructure, networks, websites, and telecommunication services
  • Direct product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring prioritization for optimal value delivery
  • Steer product development to achieve a balance between user requirements, objectives, resources, and feasibility
  • Oversee cloud vendor performance and service availability
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to establish service delivery implementation plans
  • Foster a collaborative work environment emphasizing trust, transparency, and inclusivity
  • Contribute to departmental leadership and communicate the organization’s core values
Required Expertise & Skills:

Proficient in Full Stack Java Development, Spring, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure architectures, and microservices. Familiarity with architectural patterns, best practices, enterprise applications, and agile methodologies is essential.

This flexible office/home role requires a minimum of 10 days per month in an office setting.
