This position involves conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new, upgraded and expanded substations including material procurement, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization. Responsibilities also include development and delivery of physical, electrical, civil and communication design studies, calculations, drawings, exhibits and specifications.
RequirementsWe are seeking a substation design engineer with a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. The successful applicant must have fundamental knowledge of power engineering principals and applicable codes and standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as strong organization and planning skills. Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
