Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Oakland Schools. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance and custodial work, with a strong focus on providing excellent support to our students and staff.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including classrooms, common areas, and grounds. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or custodial work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
