Job Summary and Qualifications
What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Conduct echocardiograms, imaging, dobutamine tests, and other cardiology assessments to diagnose potential cardiac conditions.
  • Transport patients, distribute final reports, maintain data management systems for echocardiograms, and process documentation of tests performed.
  • Prepare patients and examination rooms, ensuring proper equipment disinfection between patients.
  • Collaborate with other hospital staff to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Registered in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
