We are seeking a skilled Unit Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support services in our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide clerical support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist with patient care activities, such as vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff or management.
Requirements:
- Current Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing Course if a nursing student.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with reading, writing, and math skills at a 10th grade completion level or higher.
- Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare setting, with on-the-job training provided in hospital practices and procedures.
