Action Officer

KBR is in search of an Action Officer (AO) to provide support to a U.S. Government Agency. The primary role involves synchronizing activities and resources to guarantee effective operations of the Director's Advisory Group (DAG) and delivering sound recommendations. The DAG is tasked with ensuring compliance with relevant Agency policies and guidelines regarding coordination and action tracking processes. The AO is responsible for establishing and nurturing productive working relationships with clients and other stakeholders within the Directorate/Office, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and issue clear directives to the relevant offices, gather responses, and synthesize information from necessary sources to produce coherent, defendable, accurate, complete, consistent, and pertinent deliverables for Government evaluation and endorsement.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff to allocate tasks, monitor progress, and address inquiries directed to Program leadership from other directorates.
  • Review and coordinate responses for accuracy before presenting them to senior management.
  • Oversee the process of actions, generate metrics to illustrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality standards; prepare regular reports on action status and keep leadership informed of overdue, pending, and new actions.
  • Communicate policy and legislative updates to relevant parties within the Agency.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and conduct final reviews of both internal and external communications.
  • Organize and maintain presentations for audiences up to the Agency level; implement a quality control process for all presentations.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of Weekly Activity Reports.
  • Engage in DAG-related meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred - Bachelor's or associate degree in any field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in DAG-related functions.
  • Previous experience with the target agency; familiarity with organizational structure, missions, and business processes.
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior executives.

Security Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
