Job Title: Medical Assistant - Certified

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant - Certified to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant - Certified, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant - Certified will assist healthcare providers and other members of the clinic team by performing a variety of back-office and patient-related tasks. This includes preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with exams and procedures
  • Take and record patient vital signs
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures
  • Assist with medical procedures, including injections and EKGs
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support
Requirements:
  • Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant - Certified
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current (Healthcare Provider [HCP] level) CPR certification
  • Experience working in a clinic setting, preferably in a medical specialty
