Key Responsibilities- Oversee the atelier space in Early Childhood and Elementary, and the operation of the Atelier, including the management of digital Atelier.
- Provide a stimulating environment for children and staff to work on long-term projects, offering a wide range of 'intelligent' materials to encourage creative expression.
- Design and develop the Art Curriculum for Early Childhood and Elementary students, including learning outcomes that maximize creative experiences using various media.
- Produce display documentation, booklets, and films on projects and learning experiences, showcasing student work and progress.
- Support in-house training and resources for faculty on the Reggio Emilia approach, promoting learning through creative expression.
- Prepare assessments of students and faculty, attend meetings, conferences, and curriculum nights, presenting and preparing materials for various events.
- Ongoing assessment and documentation of group dynamics and individual developmental progress toward group and individual goals.
- Effective communication among staff and with parents is essential, including a weekly bulletin describing classroom activities and explaining the learning process.
- Master of Arts, Arts Management, or Arts Psychology degree (Foreign Degree OK).
- 24 months of experience with the Reggio Emilia Approach (or equivalent) and familiarity with the International Baccalaureate.
- Background check with DOJ livescan.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
