Dialysis Technician

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individualized care to patients with chronic kidney disease. As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will play a vital role in delivering prescribed treatments and supporting clinical staff in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient.

**Responsibilities:**

* Participate in infection control and risk management activities
* Guide new patients through a comprehensive education plan
* Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
* Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
* Insert and remove patient access needles
* Monitor patients during dialysis and document changes
* Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight
* Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
* Maintain professional working relationships and observe patient privacy and rights
* Maintain and track inventory
* Perform laboratory work

**Schedule:**

* Potential full-time shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts starting at 4:00am
* Sundays off
* No overnight shifts
