Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the Rocky Point Care Center team, responsible for ensuring the facility is well-maintained and running smoothly. This role oversees the upkeep of both interior and exterior surfaces, fixtures, and mechanical systems, as well as supervising the Housekeeping/Laundry department and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure the facility is in good repair
• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including housekeeping and laundry personnel
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
• Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and bending
