Join Our Tax Team as a Senior Manager

Marcum LLP is a leading accounting and consulting firm that offers a dynamic and challenging work environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our team in East Hanover, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including intermediate to advanced level returns and basic tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain advanced technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and upper-level client management.
  • Manage multiple assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with partners, managers, and supervising seniors on work status and client issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable accounting software and technologies.
  • Participate in planning and execution of client engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage staff and design staffing structures for engagements.
  • Lead small to medium-sized assignments and train and mentor lower-level staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in tax.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be a licensed CPA.
