Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Consultant to join our team at Bryten Real Estate Partners. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for welcoming and engaging prospects, residents, and guests in person and by phone. You will prepare and schedule property viewings, conduct property tours, and interview prospective residents. You will also understand and comply with affordable housing regulations and requirements, including preparing documentation and reporting.

• Welcome and engage prospects, residents, and guests in person and by phone.
• Prepare and schedule property viewings, conduct property tours, and interview prospective residents.
• Understand and comply with affordable housing regulations and requirements.
• Process potential resident applications, renew existing residents, and create rental agreements.
• Inspect property conditions and ensure standards of cleanliness are met.
• Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
• Report any problems or issues to the Community Manager or Leasing Manager.

Requirements:

• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with tax credit or affordable housing.
• Knowledge of affordable housing rules and regulations.
• Ability to work harmoniously with other staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
• Fluent reading and writing English; bilingual preferred but not required.
• Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Yardi, Resman, Onsite Property Management Software experience preferred.
