    Job Summary:
       We are seeking an experienced medical director with strong leadership skills to join our team at a not-for-profit public health system in Fort Myers. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented team and make a meaningful impact in the community. As a medical director, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care, and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission and goals.
    About You:
       To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in medicine and leadership. You should be board certified and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. A flexible schedule and ability to work independently are also essential. While active Florida licensure is preferred, we will consider candidates without it if they are willing to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe. Spanish language proficiency is beneficial but not required. Our company provides loan repayment assistance to help offset the cost of obtaining a license.
