Key responsibilities of the Financial Analyst role include:

  • Oversee the monthly financial reporting packages to assess the company's performance against budget.
  • Conduct special projects and ad-hoc analyses aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and manipulate critical operational and financial data to create reports for various stakeholders, including variance analysis, profit/loss statements, and monthly performance presentations.
  • Assist in annual long-term and budget planning.
  • Contribute to the preparation of leadership and board presentations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's business performance and confidently report findings to leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize the profit and loss statement in alignment with long-term strategic goals.
  • Identify and define opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, information technology, accounting, or economics is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive financial and analytical experience or experience with a Big 4 audit firm.
  • Proven experience in developing and refining financial models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is necessary.

Compensation: Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 plus bonus opportunities.
