Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Assist patients with completing forms and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software, utilizing company policies to optimize performance.
  • Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including ordering transportation and rescheduling as necessary.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, ensuring seamless billing and payment processes.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, such as copying, filing, and faxing, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Comply with patient needs at all times, ensuring all questions are answered and concerns are addressed.
  • Maintain procedure rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for use at all times.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, following instructions and individual doctor preferences.
  • Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after, providing a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and medication information, as needed.
  • Monitor supply levels and replace as necessary, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient clinic environment.
  • Apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Prepare IV solution and perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Train new staff as needed, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a high level of performance.
  • Assist ultrasound staff as needed, providing support and collaboration to ensure seamless operations.
  • Transport supplies or equipment as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a medical assistant or equivalent schooling required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/CMA/RMA) preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
