Job Summary



We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Day Porters/Facilities Maintenance Specialists. As a Day Porter/Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our clients' facilities, including but not limited to cleaning and maintaining buildings, floors, and fixtures, notifying management of the need for minor or major repairs or additions, and establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.



Responsibilities



Some of the key responsibilities of the Day Porter/Facilities Maintenance Specialist include:





  • Cleaning and maintaining buildings, floors, and fixtures

  • Notifying management of the need for minor or major repairs or additions

  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

  • Complying with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

  • Cleaning and dusting furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment

  • Moving cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks

  • Cleaning interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees

  • Washing and replacing blinds

  • Gathering and emptying trash

  • Sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow, or performing other incidental seasonal tasks

  • Wiping and cleaning tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas

  • Service, cleaning, and supplying restrooms

Requirements



To be considered for this role, you must:





  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Have a strong work ethic and ability to work independently

  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Have a valid driver's license (if required by the location)



Preferred Qualifications



While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:





  • Customer service experience

  • 1 year of similar work experience

Salary



The estimated salary for this role is $17.00 per hour. However, salary may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
