We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of commercial and public sector projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Construction Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and laborers
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
    • Provide regular project updates and progress reports
    • Manage and resolve conflicts and issues that may arise during the project
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial construction, specializing in commercial construction and public sector projects
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines
  • Fluently read and interpret specifications and plans
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements
