About the Job
This Licensed Practical Nurse position plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care within our healthcare team. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct care to assigned patients, including IV therapy, under the direction of a registered nurse. Your duties will also involve directing and assisting ancillary nursing staff with assigned tasks and interacting with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as good interpersonal and delegation skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and maintain confidential information. Additionally, you should have a current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.

Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a LPN will include using the nursing process in the delivery of patient care through data gathering, planning, and evaluation. You will provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the ages of patients served. You will also communicate effectively and professionally with all patients, guests, family members, and co-workers to ensure a quality patient experience.

Working Conditions
Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue. The incumbent works in a patient care area, works in an area where patients enter, works directly with patients, and/or works with specimens that could contain communicable diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning, and/or disposal of contaminated waste.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
