Key Responsibilities- Triage and assess patients in need of emergent care
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform various medical procedures, including intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
- Administer medications and assist with radiographic procedures
- Conduct diagnostic testing, including blood, urine, and fecal analysis
- Provide ongoing care and monitoring for hospitalized patients
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide education on animal care and health
- Assist with admitting and discharging patients
- Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary technology program
- At least one year of experience in veterinary care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work overnight shifts
