About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team at Innovetive Petcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and assess patients in need of emergent care
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Perform various medical procedures, including intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
  • Administer medications and assist with radiographic procedures
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, including blood, urine, and fecal analysis
  • Provide ongoing care and monitoring for hospitalized patients
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide education on animal care and health
  • Assist with admitting and discharging patients
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary technology program
  • At least one year of experience in veterinary care
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work overnight shifts
