We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at Tellica Imaging in Manchester, New Hampshire. As an APP, you will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic services in the field of medical imaging.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform and interpret various imaging procedures, including radiographs, CT scans, MRI, arthrograms, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.
- Assist in patient assessments and physical examinations to gather relevant information for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans based on imaging findings, collaborating with the referring healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to imaging procedures, identifying and reporting any adverse reactions or complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing necessary instructions for pre- and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient encounters, imaging results, and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date with advancements in imaging technology, techniques, and safety protocols, participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Engage and support relevant accreditation activities with Tellica Imaging management.
- Assist with research protocols related to diagnostic imaging.
- Adhere to quality assurance protocols, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of radiological procedures and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current New Hampshire state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Eligible for State Controlled Substance License.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Specialization or experience in medical imaging, such as radiology or nuclear medicine.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting various imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, arthrograms, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to imaging.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards.
