- Contribute to the development and education of staff members, sharing expertise and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Support the provider staff, promoting collaboration and efficient operation to deliver exceptional patient care and legendary customer service.
- Participate in systems-based practice, informatics, and technology initiatives, leveraging these tools to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Perform other duties as required, adapting to changing needs and priorities while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required, with a valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association is required, with additional certifications as needed based on assigned department or unit.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong foundation in pediatric care and perioperative nursing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems (EMRs) and Microsoft Office software is preferred.
This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be based onsite at Akron Children's Hospital, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
