Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Versa Recruiting, LLC.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care setting. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults, in a variety of settings, including ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, and critical care units.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs, medical history, and current health status.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other respiratory therapists, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Exercise judgment within established guidelines, department policies, and licensure practice acts to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapeutics, diagnostic assessment, and treatment modalities.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a critical care setting.
  • Current Florida State Respiratory License.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification as an RRT or CRT.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
