Position: Service Technician Apprentice

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00-5:00 PM (Hours may vary)

Overtime: Occasionally required

Compensation: Starting pay at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications: Candidates should possess at least 5 hours of hands-on labor experience, have no fear of heights, demonstrate ladder proficiency, and be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are also required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Service Foreman, Service Superintendent, and Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading roofing materials (must meet the 75lb lifting requirement)
  • Preparing roofs for installation
  • Transporting materials as necessary
  • Cleaning job sites
  • Learning to assess and repair various roofing systems, including Slope and Flat (Tile, Metal, Shingle, EPDM, TPO, Modified Bitumen, Gravel BUR, etc.)
  • Entry-level position with potential for pay increases based on attendance and work ethic
  • Consistent work attendance is crucial and will be recognized.
