Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, including exam rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Restock and organize medical supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available
- Assist with sterilization of medical equipment and surgical instruments
- Check in inventory efficiently and assist with maintaining necessary cleaning materials
- Assist with animal handling and restraint, as well as support doctors and technicians with medical treatments and procedures
- Assist receptionists with filing and basic charting
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting, preferred
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to different roles as needed
- Ability to adjust to changes in the environment and handle stress in a calm manner
- Team player with patience and a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment
