Automotive Dismantler

LKQ is seeking a skilled Automotive Dismantler to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience by providing high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.

• Dismantle vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner.
• Label and tag parts to be placed into stock.
• Check the quality and product type of the parts.
• Maintain all the tools necessary for the job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hands-on automotive repair experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Basic understanding of the function of each part of a vehicle.
• Ability to use hand tools, air tools, and torches.

The Automotive Dismantler will work in a fast-paced environment with intense physical labor and repetitive lifting. The ability to lift at least 75lbs is required. The employee will also work outside in various types of weather and be exposed to hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.
