Automotive Dismantler Position

LKQ is seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team. As a Dismantler, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience by properly removing high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively with others. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automotive repair experience and a basic understanding of vehicle parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner.
  • Label and tag parts to be placed into stock.
  • Check the quality and product type of the parts.
  • Must own and maintain all necessary tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on automotive repair experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle parts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
