Job Title: Installer

At Budget Blinds of Aberdeen and Shelton, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of shades and drapery systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain van supplies, equipment, and systems to ensure efficient and effective installation processes.
  2. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing window treatments as needed, utilizing technical manuals and schematics to resolve issues.
  3. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding installation and maintenance procedures.
  5. Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure seamless installation processes.
  6. No prior experience is necessary, but previous experience in installation or handyman/maintenance is preferred.
Requirements:
  1. Experience with various tools, demonstrating proficiency with a drill and handsaw.
  2. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills to resolve installation-related issues.
  4. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  6. Washington state driver's license and a clean driving record.
  7. Professional and friendly attitude.
  8. Comfortable working at heights and on ladders and scaffolding.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
  1. Employee will work 3 – 5 days per week as needed, with a typical workweek ranging from 25 – 40 hours.
  2. Salary is based on experience, with a starting wage of $18 - $22 (discussed after a satisfactory 90-day probation period).
