Position Overview:
This role is a full-time, on-site position as a CMM Measurement Specialist at our Canton, MI facility.

The CMM Measurement Specialist will undertake Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations, execute inspections, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

This position requires the use of advanced metrology tools and software to assess and confirm the accuracy and precision of components and assemblies.


Key Responsibilities:
- Develop programming for new products.
- Conduct inspections on current parts.
- Perform incoming inspections for both new and existing production.
- Provide support for gage calibration.
- Maintain quality lab activities.
- Adapt to working in a quality lab environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and utilizing metrology tools.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficient in Zeiss CALYPSO.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CMM programmer/operator.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Background in quality control and inspection.
- Skilled in measurement software and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work effectively within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metrology preferred.

Compensation:
$30/Hour
