Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at The Auto Club Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, promoting our products and services, and participating in office events to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level support services to members related to sales and service functions, including servicing insurance policies, processing applications, renewals, and amendments, and selling travel, tours, airline tickets, and membership products
  • Generate leads, update members on travel and insurance specials, and provide travel information
  • Provide cashiering services to members, including taking insurance payments, travel, and membership payments, sale of tickets, and travel money products, processing remittance/depository transfers, and balancing cash drawers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer to agents when necessary
  • Provide administrative support to Travel and Insurance Agents during peak periods
  • Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products
  • Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service following the customer service model
  • Receive and resolve member/customer complaints and seek assistance from management as needed
  • Participate in office events developed to generate revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activities
