Role Summary:
We are collaborating with a leading manufacturing organization to find a qualified Interim Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations temporarily. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the manufacturing sector, with a robust understanding of month-end closing processes, general accounting practices, reconciliations, and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
2. Oversee general accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
3. Conduct post-closing reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
4. Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
5. Support cash management activities, including forecasting and bank reconciliations.
6. Collaborate with various teams to meet financial reporting requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
7. Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
8. Implement process enhancements to improve accounting operations.
9. Provide mentorship to junior accounting personnel as necessary.
10. Engage in ad hoc projects as directed by senior management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred.
• At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
• Familiarity with public companies and SOX compliance is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Experience in team management and development is a plus.
