Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare products for shipping: Ensure accurate and efficient preparation of products for shipment, utilizing the most efficient means available to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Route shipments: Utilize knowledge of shipping routes and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Create shipping labels and documentation: Accurately create and manage shipping labels and documentation to ensure smooth and efficient shipping processes.
  • Coordinate with carriers: Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Track shipments: Monitor and update records of shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Inspect shipments: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality of products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to accurately prepare and manage shipping documentation and labels.
