Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at Spaulding Hospital-Boston & Cambridge(SRN,SRH,SHC). As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison with Providers and Patients/Families: Serve as a liaison among physicians, patients/families, and allied clinicians, monitoring patient health status and communicating needs across providers.
  • Promoting Adherence to Evidence-Based Practice: Promote adherence to evidence-based practice by being aware of all hospital initiatives and ensuring their implementation at the bedside.
  • Documenting Provision of Care: Work with nurses and doctors to ensure that all services included in CMS core measures are documented appropriately in patient charts.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Serve as an informal mentor, coach, and educator for new and existing unit-based nurses, addressing issues that arise with patients and improving care delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of diverse and well-rounded clinical experience required; prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication skills using the English language.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
