We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Camaco, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the equipment and plant to ensure its operation meets the needs of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support to plant operations, ensuring seamless production and minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems with plant machinery and equipment, utilizing advanced technical skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Support the implementation and installation of new and rebuilt equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
- Operate machinery, tools, and equipment, including forklifts and booms, with a focus on safety and productivity.
- Perform electrical work, including wiring of lights, presses, and welders, and installation of plumbing, water, drain, and air systems.
- Maintain the building and grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status in Machine Repair and/or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- 3+ years of related work experience, with a proven track record of success in maintenance and repair.
- Must successfully complete all courses and/or tests outlined in the Department Training Phases I & II.
- Technical Capacity: Advanced equipment troubleshooting skills, working knowledge of NEC and ANSI codes, and familiarity with automotive specifications.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, ensuring clear understanding and cooperation.
The successful candidate will regularly work on the plant floor, with occasional exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds, with specific vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
