Job Description

O'Brien Engineering, Inc. (OEI) is a multidisciplinary professional architecture and engineering firm seeking a Water Resources Professional Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and hydraulic modeling, with experience in developing innovative solutions to complex water resources projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on engineering projects, including project scoping and proposal preparation, assistance with invoicing and budgeting, and presenting proposals and analysis to clients and stakeholders.

The Water Resources Professional Engineer will work closely with the project team to develop and implement hydrologic and hydraulic models, as well as provide expertise on permitting and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff and providing guidance on project development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on water resources, and at least 8 years of experience in water resources projects. The successful candidate will also have proficiency in modeling using various H&H and hydrodynamic models and model development and mapping software.
