Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine patient care in accordance with Tennova Healthcare- Cleveland established policy and procedures.
  • Deliver care based on patients' needs appropriate to age and developmental level for the pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient.
  • Assist patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens or gather vital signs but do not start or administer intravenous fluids.
  • Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.
  • Provide clerical support for all employees within the assigned nursing unit.
  • Maintain and update patients' records for the unit.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required.
  • Diploma or transcripts required upon hire.
  • One-year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
  • One-year patient care experience preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required within six months of hire.
