Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Review Tax Returns: Prepare and review tax returns for various business types, including corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships.
  • Conduct Tax Research: Conduct thorough tax research and stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Represent Clients: Assist clients with tax audits and represent them before the IRS if necessary.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliation and analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with clients' accountants or bookkeepers to ensure seamless integration of tax strategies with overall financial management.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled Agent Certification: Must have Enrolled Agent Certification and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Strong Tax Knowledge: Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for account analysis and reconciliation, including QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Bilingual: Bilingual skills are a plus.
