Key Responsibilities- Accurately record vital signs and exercise judgment in patient interactions, reporting changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision.
- Employ crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniques.
- Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene.
- Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities.
We are looking for an individual with a high school degree or equivalent, preferably with experience in psychiatric patient care techniques and a knowledge of mental illness. Additional skills requirements include the ability to work overtime and flexible hours.
