Job Title: Director of Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Phiston Technologies, Inc. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company, ensuring the smooth execution of our business strategies, and driving continuous improvement in our processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the operations function, including procurement, manufacturing, production, quality assurance, shipment, and service
  • Manage the P&L and internal finance team
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Monitor invoices, money handling procedures, accounting, and bank processes
  • Delegate responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO on all matters of importance
  • Manage relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • Assess and implement improved processes and new technologies, and collaborate with management to implement these improvements
Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or similar role with manufacturing experience
  • Experience and training in operations management techniques such as lean manufacturing or total quality management preferred
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, etc.
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices and managing a P&L
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
