Sierra Peaks Corporation is on the lookout for a Mechanical Assembly Specialist. The successful candidate will engage in both mechanical and electronic assembly tasks, which include soldering, crimping, and wiring according to technical diagrams and schematics. Key responsibilities will also involve Quality Control and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with the established Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute cable and mechanical assembly tasks
- Assist in engineering development initiatives
- Perform product testing and prepare items for distribution
- Inspect components using basic measurement tools
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Fulfill other assigned responsibilities
- Ability to interpret and work from wiring and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- US citizenship is mandatory
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings
- Minimum of 3 years in assembly roles
- Proficient in soldering techniques
- Familiarity with ISO Quality systems
- Technical certifications in Electronics are advantageous
- Certifications in IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001 are preferred
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
