Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance practices.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification required.
  • Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
  • Supervisory experience is not required.
