RN - PICU Nurse Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a PICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
