About the Role

Willamette Family, Inc. is a leading nonprofit organization providing substance use treatment and behavioral healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate medical provider to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a licensed medical provider with a strong background in addiction medicine and psychiatric care to provide direct patient care and program support for our withdrawal management and residential treatment programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with our medical director and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients entering withdrawal management and residential treatment programs.
  • Prescribe and manage medications to support withdrawal management and address co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions.
  • Monitor patients' response to medications, adjust dosages as needed, and provide education on medication adherence and potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement policies, protocols, and treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
  • NP, PMHNP, or PA licensure.
  • Board certification in Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate interdisciplinary team members.
  • A commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care and advocating for individuals with substance use disorders.
