At Pearce Services, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients. As a Generator Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our nation's wireless and wireline telecom, commercial and utility-scale solar and wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair generators, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems, and performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
  • Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness, reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair.
  • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, and test for proper operation.
  • Respond promptly to Power/Generator alarms, and have the ability to be on call 24/7 if necessary.
  • Perform work with the awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switching gear, and other equipment.
Requirements:
  • Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred, and a minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators, knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, and moderate computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
Physical/Work Environment:
  • This position requires lifting over 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly.
  • Must be willing and able to drive long distances, workday, evening, or night hours, and overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends, and holidays as required.
Compensation:

$25.00-$35.00 hourly/DOE
