Job Summary:

As a Quality Engineer at Tige Boats, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our boating products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust new quality control processes, drive continuous improvement in product quality and reliability, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality System Implementation: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and verification of all quality system requirements, including process control plans, problem-solving, corrective actions, audits, supplier issues, customer concerns, and customer-specific requirements.
  2. Process Improvement: Identify the strengths and weaknesses of current programs and systems, and devise strategies for improvement.
  3. Quality Control: Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to identify and address quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  4. Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with design and production teams to establish quality standards and specifications, and provide guidance on quality control processes and procedures.
  5. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze product defects, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Review and approve quality control documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  7. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators, and create and report KPIs to executive leadership for clear understanding of quality and product metrics.
  8. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on quality processes and standards, and assure corresponding gauging, fixturing, process inspection, and verification records.
  9. Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with product development engineers and suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the boating or similar industry.
  3. Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies, familiarity with industry regulations and standards, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
  4. Certifications: Achievement of relevant certifications in quality control or related fields is highly advantageous.
