Position Overview:
As a key strategic member of the Collections Forecasting team, you will provide essential Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections inputs to the corporate Free Cash Flow Forecast by translating revenue forecasts into cash timing.

Collaborate with Business Unit Finance Management Teams to consolidate revenue forecasts, utilizing corporate reporting tools to develop models that align with business requirements and track forecasted versus actual collectible revenue.

Analyze and assess the accuracy of forecast inputs and sources, influencing business partners to drive continuous enhancements.
Review weekly detailed collections forecasts from global AR and collections analysts.
Evaluate the accuracy of the forecast model against inputs from the Global Collection Organization.
Publish a weekly scorecard for the global forecast and deliver performance feedback to downstream teams.
Create a comprehensive database of customer-level payment trends.
Partner with Treasury management to provide analytics and decision support for liquidity strategies.

AR Close & Reporting:

Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages for senior leadership, collaborating with global managers to deliver insights on customer accounts.

Conduct weekly and monthly analyses of customer deduction activities and trends.
Support monthly AR closing processes.
Prepare and maintain audit PBC and collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Assist with SOX audit walkthroughs with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate finance role.
- MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Excellent global communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SAP is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, ability, knowledge of the job, performance, contribution, geographic location, and business needs.

The salary range represents what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting and may be subject to future modifications.

Eligible candidates will participate in Western Digital's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which offers incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
