Job Description: Material Estimating Specialist

Interior Logic Group is looking for a skilled Material Estimating Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide detailed and itemized material quantity estimates from owner or contractor furnished plan sets.

About the Company

We are the leading national installer for select high-value and stylistically important interior finishes, such as flooring, cabinets and countertops, to our homebuilder customers, as well as multi-family, commercial and repair & remodel customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Completes detailed and itemized material quantity estimates using designated estimating applications
  • Communicates with senior or lead to clarify any unusual or special material issues
  • Determines accurate quantities related materials as measured from provided plan sets

You will also be responsible for determining if supplied materials meet local/state/federal specifications and identifying materials required for the construction of facilities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of experience in material estimating related to construction materials
  • Excellent analytical skills and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadline demands and in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
