Overview:InLine is a leader in roadway lighting, traffic signals, and intelligent transportation systems. We are seeking an Underground Conduit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our underground conduit installation crew, you will be responsible for pulling and installing electric and fiber optic wire through underground conduits on various transportation and infrastructure projects.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have experience pulling electric and/or fiber optic wire through underground conduits. They will also be able to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and blueprints, as well as knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to wire pulling. The ideal candidate will be physically able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Responsibilities:
  • Pull and install electric and fiber optic wire into underground conduits, adhering to project specifications.
  • Assist in preparing job sites, including the setup of pulling equipment and tools.
  • Handle and pull wire safely and efficiently, ensuring no damage to the wire or conduits.
  • Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, plans, and work orders.
  • Assist with routine maintenance of pulling equipment and tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
